About afinitas afinitas is the organization that produces the community dinner. afintas is not affiliated with any other group or organization. afinitas has no political, religious, philosophical or social orientation. afinitas was organized because the founders, Sue Saunders and Jonathan McSurdy, saw a need to bring communities together in a neutral manner by creating an environment that encouraged participants to meet their neighbors and discuss topics of local interest. Founded in Doylestown, afinitas' growth objectives are three fold: to establish and enhance the Doylestown Community Dinner, to establish similar programs in local communities, and eventually spread the concept nationally.
