Past Dinners have attracted hundreds of participants from the business, residential, civic, arts, charitable, and religious communities. Representation varies from Dinner to Dinner.

Each participant attends for their own reasons. However many have said that they wanted to:

- Meet a wider cross section of their community

- Publicize a project in which they are involved

- Expand their social circle

- Develop better community relations for their business or organization

- Try something different

- Get plugged into the community

- Recruit volunteers for their organization, and

- Learn about different organizations before they make a commitment of time or money
